Wine Review: A typical Californian Sauvignon Blanc, the "Silver Spur" resonates with melon and stone fruit flavors. On the palate, honeydew melons, Crenshaw melons, Anjou pears, and golden apples can be found in abundance. The finish is medium in length thanks to the wine's bounty of flavors but lacks some acidity to balance it all out. I would pair this with a salad that has almonds and goat cheese throughout. – Nicolay
