Wine Review: This medium golden yellow colored Petit Manseng with a touch of haze from Jefferson Vineyards opens with an apricot and golden raisin bouquet with hints of honey and pineapple upside-down cake. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly creamy, fresh, and rich. The flavor profile is an apricot and ripe golden delicious apple blend with notes of pineapple and honey. We also detected hints of mango, lemon tea, and candied ginger. Its slightly off-dry rich flavors and bright acidity linger and last for a while on the finish. We would pair this Petit Manseng with Chicken Normandy with Calvados or with lump crab with brown butter, cherry tomatoes, and linguini. Enjoy - Ken and Mark
