Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Jordan opens with a pear like bouquet with hints of lemon and faint oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced pear with notes mild oak. I also detected some hints of green apple and baking spice mixed in. The finish is dry and pleasant. This Chard was enjoyed by all that tried it. It is built to be versatile and food friendly wine. I would pair it with grilled trout with butter. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The smaller harvest in 2017 produced a crisp, delicious Russian River Valley Chardonnay that continues to wow us with its brightness and vitality. It opens with inviting aromas of honeysuckle and lemon peel that lead to bright flavors of stone fruits and citrus. The palate is elegant yet succulent, with layers of oak-laced lemon, pears, quince and white peach. All of which are supported by uplifting acidity. Its crisp, citrusy finish lingers on the palate, while enticing you to take another sip. The 2017 Jordan Chardonnay is wonderful as an aperitif and it’s a great food pairing wine. Try it with salads or seafood raw bar favorites.
