Wine Review: This Spanish red blend, named The Flying Effect, from the Montsant region is a translucent medium ruby red color, and has saddle leather, cigar box, ground coffee, pine pitch and black raspberry aromas. On the palate it is dry, medium bodied, rustic, and supple, with moderate balanced acidity. There is a pleasant freshness to it. I found flavors of pomegranate, strawberry, spice, wet stone, and dried herbs. The finish is dry with moderate amounts of grippy tannins. Have some on hand for the upcoming grilling season. Winemaker Notes: L'Efecte Volador red is one of the first wines to go to the market. It is a privilege to have it in our range because it is the young wine, the most popular and the one that makes us enjoy at any time of the year. It's our "nouveau." It pleases all palates for its youth, freshness, and lightness. It reflects the typical characteristics of red Grenache and Carignan. It is a very fresh wine, with balsamic aromas and red and forest fruits, as well as cherries, plums, blackberries, undergrowth aromas and mineral touches. Silky texture, light and fresh. Ideal to enjoy it for drinks or accompanied by diverse gastronomy.
