Wine Review: This pale coral colored Rosé from Kaiken opens with a faint red raspberry and stone dust bouquet with hints of watermelon. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and delicate. The flavor profile is stony minerality and watermelon blend with notes of gentle red raspberry tea and maraschino cherry. I also detected hints of bay leaf, white pepper, and lime zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would enjoy this wine at the beach. It is best served slightly chilled. With food, I would pair this Rosé with steamed mussels.
