Wine Review: This clear and straw-colored Chardonnay from Kale opens with a faint apricot and orange bouquet with hints of bee's wax, caramel, and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well balanced, refined, very delicate and fresh. The flavor profile is a gentle Bosc pear and mild honeydew melon blend with notes of pineapple and almond. We also detected hints of oak, stony minerality, and lemon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Chard with baked sole with lemon or baked haddock with Ritz cracker crust. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This wine offers a vivid display of minerality, reminiscent of stone and river rock. It also features crisp green apple and a burst of citrus, with prominent lemon zest. The body is medium, perfectly balanced by bright acidity. It finishes light and clean and lingers on the palate. Tremendous aging potential.
