Wine Review: This very pale salmon (blush) colored wine made from Pinotage opens with a wet slate and strawberry bouquet with a hint of kumquat and cantaloupe. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a crusted stone and watermelon blend with notes of red raspberry and marzipan. We also detected hints of lime zest and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The Panel would pair this Rose with my poached pear, candied pecan and Great Hill blue cheese salad. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A full bodied, dry style of rosé with a subtle onion skin color. Inviting aromas of ripe melon, candy floss, rose water and summer berries are present on the nose. The flavor profile is packed with juicy raspberry and cherry fruit. The bright acidity and delicate nature of this wine makes it fit for any occasion. Ideally served chilled between 8 - 10˚C. Pair with grilled salmon or sushi.
