Wine Review: This wine is consistently the best representation of Pinotage that I try each year. It is dark ruby colored and opens with a fragrant strawberry and black raspberry bouquet with notes of oak detected as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and extremely well balanced. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of black cherry and black raspberry with wonderfully integrated oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely extended. Pair this terrific Pinotage with a veal chop. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Crafted from the fruit of some of South Africa’s oldest Pinotage vines, this benchmark bottling is a true Cape classic! Alluringly complex and distinctive, it boasts juicy layers of dark berries, cassis and plum intertwined with hints of bacon and mocha and a smoky, minerally undercurrent.
