Wine Review: This opaque and pitch black colored Cabernet from down under is Very Good. It opens with a fragrant black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and very juicy. The flavor profile is a juicy blackberry with notes of spice, black currant, and black licorice. There is also some nicely integrated oak intertwined throughout. The finish is dry and its juicy flavors and moderate tannins linger for quite some time. This wine would pair well with Kerrygold Dubliner cheese and stone wheat thin crackers by the fireplace on a cool fall evening. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Brilliant red in colour with youthful crimson hues. Nose: Intense aromas of cassis, dark cherries and green leafy notes seduce the senses, superbly wrapped up in exotic French oak spice. Palate: Richly flavoured, yet with an appealing freshness and textural finesse, the palate is all cassis, dark cherries and cigar box notes beautifully supported by fine natural tannins and acidity.
