Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and very dark purple colored GSM is a fruit bomb. It opens with an attractive blackberry jam bouquet with a hint of boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, lush and jammy. The flavor profile is a very ripe blackberry and black raspberry blend with notes of black plum and mild minerality mixed in. There is also a touch of olive, oak and black pepper towards the end. The finish lingers with its flavors, acidity and mild tannins drifting away nicely. This wine is best served on its own. Sip it by the fireplace or firepit. If you want some food, try a very sharp cheddar cheese and stone wheat cracker. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A seamless and rewarding southern Rhone styled blend. The majority Grenache providing cherry fruits, toffee and perfume, the Shiraz, robustness and structure whilst the 10 percent Mataro giving length, persistence and a savory twist to the finish.
