Wine Review: This golden hued colored unoaked Chardonnay from New Zealand is very nice. It is medium to full bodied, bright and lively with crisp acidity. Yet at the same time it is lush and creamy. We liked its butter, honey, and honeysuckle flavors with hints of pineapple. The finish fades away nicely. We would pair this Chard with swordfish skewers – Karen and Stuart

Winemaker Notes: Colour: Pale straw. Aroma: Ripe tropical fruits—pineapple and ripe melon—with hints of butterscotch. Palate: An approachable and full-bodied Chardonnay that shows great length and persistence. Ripe stonefruit, butterscotch, and citrus characters show through well, in a style uncluttered by oak. Food Pairings: A great match for seafood, white meats, and "fusion" food.
