Wine Review: This opaque and dark purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District is a very good value. It opens with a blueberry and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and black cherry blend with notes of oak. I also detected hints of plum, blueberry and black licorice. The finish is dry and its flavors and plus tannins show very nice length. This Cab certainly over delivers for the money. I would pair it with a NY strip steak. (Tasted twice with consistent notes – available at Costco soon before it's gone). Cheers - Ken
