Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling opens with a bee’s wax and honey poached pear bouquet with hints of grilled pineapple, lychee, and matchstick. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and classy. The flavor profile is refined stony minerality and green apple blend notes of ginger and green tea. We also detected hints of apricot, lime, saline, and basil mixed in. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling with Ocean Prime’s Chilean sea bass or with sauteed lionfish. Enjoy – KWGTP
