Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Knights Bridge opens with an oak, Bartlett pear, and butterscotch bouquet with hints of green apple. On the palate this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and rich. The like the nose, the flavor profile is a butterscotch, oak, and Bartlett pear blend with notes of baking spices. We also detected hints of pineapple. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for a very long time. We would pair this Chard with a warm lobster roll. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The complexity of the 2021 West Block is matched by a varietal clarity that is a signature of our Knights Bridge Estate, offering an intricate medley of citrus, honey, exotic ginger and shortbread aromas. The middle palate gains intensity beginning with Meyer lemon and orange blossom flavors, building to mouthwatering salted caramel crème brûlée and followed by luscious honeycomb toward the finish.
