Wine Review: This clear and garnet colored Pinot Noir from Kosta Browne opens with a mild red cherry and clay bouquet with hints of faint cinnamon, leather, and green herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and smooth with good texture and freshness. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and spiced red plum blend with notes of red licorice and oak. We also detected hints of mushroom and black cherry.
