Wine Review: This pitch black colored Syrah from Krupp Brothers was once again terrific. The 2015 Black Bart opens with an attractive mild blackberry bouquet with hints of eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, almost silky and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and dark chocolate blend with notes of vanilla oak. We also detected some hints of coffee and black cherry. The finish is dry and its flavors and managed moderate tannins are nicely extended. The Panel suggested pairing this Syrah with a steak au poivre. Enjoy - KWGTP
