Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Krupp Brothers was well received by our Tasting Panel. It opens with a fragrant blackberry bouquet with notes of graphite, cigar box and olive. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, velvety and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty blackberry with notes of graphite and black cherry. We also detected hints of olive and stewed plum. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. The Panel suggested pairing this very nice Cab with beef carpaccio with truffle oil. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of ripe blackberry, currant, dark cherry and baking spices lift from the glass of this elegant mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. The lush mouthfeel shows dark fruit coupled with hints of cedar and anise. Bright acidity is balanced by rounded tannins with a touch of black pepper on the finish. Pair with grilled bone-in ribeye in rosemary butter with roasted root vegetables or a medium rare cheeseburger with aged cheddar, sautéed mushrooms and grilled onions. Drink now through 2035.
