Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Syrah from Washington state opens with a toasted coconut bouquet with hints of ripe black cherry, blueberry and pine. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and balanced. The flavor profile cherry and raspberry blend with hints of plum, oak and fig paste. The finish is dry, dusty and has good length. The Panel suggested pairing this Syrah with a steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This beautifully balanced "Estate" Syrah marries savory aromas of olive tapenade and black pepper with floral notes of violet. The expansive palate shows flavors of dense dark fruit, bitter chocolate, and barrel spice that give way to a concentrated earthy mineral finish.
