Wine Review: In the glass, this lively Washington state Chardonnay is a golden yellow colored. It displays aromas of beeswax, ripe pear, butterscotch, lemon curd, and apple blossom. Round and rich on the palate, it is bright, balanced, and medium-plus bodied with medium-plus acidity. There are flavors of honeydew melon, pineapple, white peach, and butterscotch with notes of passionfruit and crushed stone. The mineral driven finish lingers for a while. I would serve with shrimp and grits. - Mark
