Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored Merlot from Howell Mountain opens with a mild black cherry and blueberry bouquet with a hint of coffee. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, refined, smooth and displays some nice flavors. Those flavors are a mild mineral infused black cherry with hints of faint oak and black plum. The finish is dry and its fine grained tannins drift away nicely. This Merlot is very food friendly and versatile. I would pair it with Theresa's homemade meatloaf. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Howell Mountain is one of the best locations in Napa for Merlot winemaking. Made from a combination of our La Jota and Keyes Vineyard Merlot, you will nd avors of milk chocolate and dark blackberry mixed with an incredible texture. A hint of vanilla accompanies the nish as you enjoy this wine.
