Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a smoky vanilla oak and mild pomegranate bouquet with a hint of strawberry licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, ripe and juicy. The flavor profile is a really ripe plum with notes of black raspberry. I also detected a little oak, black pepper and touch of RC cola. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This fruit bomb of a Pinot Noir would appeal to Zin lovers as well. I would pair it with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
