Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Lafond is very very good. It opens with fragrant oak and apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty oak infused lemon and apple blend. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. Readers who like this style are going to love this Chardonnay. It is very food friendly and would pair perfectly with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy
