Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a ginger, ripe honeydew melon and apricot pit bouquet with hints of beeswax and pink grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with mouthwatering medium acidity. The flavor profile is pink grapefruit and lime blend with notes of integrated chalky minerality. We also detected hints of ginger, honey and apricot towards the end. The finish is dry and it lingers and lasts for quite some time. We would pair this tasty Riesling with grilled swordfish with a lemon butter drizzle or with Maryland lump crab cakes. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
