Wine Review: This medium straw-colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a bee's wax, petrol, and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine medium bodied, slightly acidic, round, and juicy. The flavor profile is a lemon-lime and tart yellow grapefruit blend with notes of green apple and stony minerality. I also detected hints of pineapple and ginger ale in the aftertaste. The citrus fruit carries thru the finish and lingers nicely. This Riesling would be best served slightly chilled on a hot summer day around the pool or at the beach. Enjoy - Ken
