Wine Review: This clear and very pale coral colored Cab Franc based Dry Rosé from Lamoreaux Landing opens with a tangerine and light pink grapefruit bouquet with hints of apricot and cantaloupe. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh, and a bit zesty. The flavor profile is a tangerine and lime zest blend with notes of green tea with lemon and chalky minerality. I also detected hints of honeydew melon and white peach. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. I would serve this refreshing Dry Rosé slightly chilled on a warm summer day. With Food, I would pair it with shrimp tacos. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A soft coral hue sets the stage for aromas of pink grapefruit and a crisp, energetic palate of fresh picked berries and citrus zest layered over a soft, creamy edge. Serve with smoked salmon, grilled tuna steak or soft-shelled crab.
