Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia opens with a eucalyptus, red cherry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, is wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a mild mineral cherry with notes of menthol. I also detected hints of strawberry and red plum. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are refined, yet sticky and linger. This gentle Cab would pair well with a juicy mushroom and Swiss burger. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Lifted and elegant, the nose is a myriad of red cherries, currants, boysenberries and plums. Cumin, dried sage and star anise combine with subtle oak characters. The palate full of energy with bright and balanced acidity. Currants and red cherries are prominent throughout with hints of clove and mocha present on the mid-palate. There is a mineral line towards the finish that meets gently structured talc-like tannins.
