Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Leonetti opens with a cedar and ripe black cherry bouquet with hints of teaberry gum and boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, polished, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is blackberry and graphite blend with notes of cedar and boysenberry. We also detected hints of oak, green tea and a touch of chocolate and pomegranate seed. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time. This wine benefits from a little aeration. After a short decant, we would pair this red blend with a grilled pinwheeled flank steak or a ribeye steak. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Saturated crimson color. Alluring aromatics of blackberry, blueberry, crème brûlée, violet, and hints of freshly ground coffee beans. The palate is so dense, with perfect ripeness of fruit. Precise, laser-like focus is followed by velvety fruit and a contemplative, robust, and delicious finish.
