Wine Review: This dark red colored Zinfandel from Limerick Lane is Excellent. It opens with a cranberry, oak, and red raspberry bouquet with hints of cinnamon and pestled mint leaves. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is a round and creamy for a Zin. The flavor profile is a red raspberry and cinnamon blend with notes of peach. I also detected hints of red plum and minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and dusty tannins build-up and stick around for a long time. This Zin would pair well with New York strip steak.
