Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a very fragrant brambly black raspberry jam bouquet with hints of boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, smooth and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty stewed red plum with notes blackberry jam and minerality. I also detected hints of light oak, acai berry and oolong tea in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its fruit and mild balanced tannins fade away nicely. This very good Zin would pair well with lamb picadillo tacos or an herb encrusted rack of lamb. Enjoy – Ken & Joe
