Wine Review: This medium purple colored Zinfandel opens with a strawberry jam and blackberry bouquet with hints of blueberry and honey. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a gentle strawberry and blackberry blend with notes of crushed stone minerality and red plum. We also detected hints of black tea and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. This Zin is very food friendly and approachable. We would pair it with a Texas style smoked brisket recipe. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
