Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Grenache Blanc and Viognier blend opens with an orange peel and Anjou pear bouquet with hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and bright. The flavor profile is a citrus mélange featuring lemon and apricot with notes of lime and orange. I also detected some hints of minerality and white peach. The finish is dry and a refreshing. This wine would pair well with grilled halibut. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Fáilte, (pronounced Fall-cha) Irish for "welcome," is a crisp, refreshing white wine that will pair well with a wide variety of foods. Its luscious texture and aromas of apple and white flowers are a beautiful reflection of its terroir. Fruit is sourced from our neighboring grower Front Porch Farms, which specializes in only Rhone varietals. The Grenache Blanc delivers beautiful citrus and stone fruit flavors, while the Viognier provides fresh peach and apricot aromas.
