Wine Review: This clear and dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Limerick Lane opens with a black cherry danish and fresh mint bouquet with hints of boysenberry and lilac. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a blueberry and stony minerality blend with notes of gentle tobacco and green tea. We also detected hints of cocoa, oak, and black plum. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed moderate tannins stick around for quite some time. We would pair this very good Zin with grilled hanger steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
