Wine Review: This clear medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Lombardi opens with a pomegranate and red currant bouquet with hints of cherry, dried strawberry, and pine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, graceful, and very approachable. The flavor profile is gentle red plum and mild black raspberry blend with notes of oolong tea, graphite, and ginger. We also detected hints of cherry-cola and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and gentle dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this delicate and finesse Pinot with pork tenderloin or pork roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
