Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa opens with a mild gooseberry and lime bouquet with hints of green pepper and honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with medium acidity. The flavors are tart grapefruit with notes of white peach pit and chamomile tea. I also detected a hint of lemon zest as well. The finish is dry, and its zesty flavors linger nicely. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with a pan-fried cod with a rich lemon butter sauce. Enjoy - Ken
