Wine Review: This dark garnet colored Gamay from Moulin-à-Vent opens with a fragrant black raspberry and turned earth bouquet with hints of plum, tobacco leaf and strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The flavor profile is an earthy mineral infused tangy black raspberry and oak blend with notes of juicy red plum, black pepper and a hint of black cherry. The finish is dry and its well-managed medium tannins linger for a bit. I would pair this very good Beaujolais with Cuban sandwich with Dijon mustard. Enjoy – Ken
