Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Beaujolais opens with a blackberry and earthy loam bouquet with hints of cedar, baking spice, and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and a little juicy. The flavor profile is black plum and green tea with earthy notes and gentle blackberry mixed in. We also detected hints of minerality and anise. The finish is dry and its fine tannins drift away nicely. This wine is very food friendly and versatile. The Panel would pair it with Kerry’s 100-point meatballs, pork tenderloin, or a funky cheese. Enjoy – KWGTP
