Wine Review: This clear and dark yellow colored Chenin Blanc from Lussier opens with a fragrant ripe quince and chamomile tea bouquet with hints of ginger and honeysuckle. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, slightly viscous, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a quince and chamomile tea blend with notes of white pepper and Anjou pear. I also detected hints of lemon verbena, Madagascar vanilla, and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely sustained. I would pair this Chenin Blanc with a pan-seared halibut with a garlic crab topping. Enjoy - Ken
