Wine Review: This translucent and dark red colored Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley opens with a red raspberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of rhubarb and red Twizzler. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The flavor profile is a tart black raspberry and black tea blend with notes of rhubarb and loam. I also detected hints of red plum and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. This Pinot integrates nicely with some aeration. I would decant it before serving with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Lighter garnet color in the glass, the nose of this tantalizing Pinot is playful and full of red floral aromas and perfumed spice. On the palate, lush layers of red cherry and cranberry emerge, as well as flirtatious notes of blackberry. The palate has lovely weight and body, with nuanced flavors of toasty oak and bright pomegranate carrying the wine to a long, silky finish.
