Wine Review: This translucent light ruby colored Pinot Noir from MacRostie opens with a tilled earth and black raspberry bouquet with hints of dried strawberry, tobacco, and thyme. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, fresh, brisk, and zesty. The flavor profile is black raspberry and cranberry blend with notes of pomegranate and black tea. We also detected hints of dried strawberry, mint, slate, and nutmeg. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. We would pair this Pinot with Morimoto's hoisin chili sticky spareribs and cedar plank salmon. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This is the second vintage of Pinot Noir produced from our Nightwing Estate Vineyard. It is ruby in color, with vibrant red-fruit aromas dominating, this wine draws you in with layers of red currant, cherry candy, and exotic orange citrus. On the palate, it is playful and lively with flavors of pomegranate and rich persimmon creating a satisfying presence that balances with the hearty tannins as the wine builds to a long, refreshing finish.
