Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Pinot Noir from MacRostie opens with a black tea and blackberry bouquet with hints of cedar and strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and savory. The flavor profile is a tart black plum and red licorice blend with notes of blackberry tea and stony minerality. I also detected hints of dried strawberry and cinnamon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. I would pair this Pinot Noir with an Ahi tuna burger. Enjoy – Ken
