Wine Review: This coral-colored Rose from Chamisal opens with a mild grapefruit and lime bouquet with hints of tangerine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is saline and mild strawberry blend with notes of watermelon and chalky minerality. I also detected hints of lemon tea and lime. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are quite refreshing. I would enjoy this Rose on the beach slightly chilled on a hot summer day. Winemaker Notes: Bright and fresh with notes of melon, watermelon, grapefruit, and stone fruit balanced by a vibrant acidity leading to a clean and refreshing finish.
