Wine Review: This midnight burgundy colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with an attractive black currant and black cherry bouquet with hints of mint and chocolate. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. It displays a wonderful mouthfeel that is nicely balanced, really smooth, and suave. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant and black cherry blend with notes of gentle graphite, blueberry, and chocolate. I also detected hints of cedar and red beet. The finish is dry and its well-managed moderate tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. I would pair this wine with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Marietta's husband, Armé, nurtured my father's love for this majestic landscape we call home. This is an exemplary California Cabernet aromatic experience filled with dried minty herbs and lavender. Blackberries, bright cherries, and plums, with hints of leather and tobacco, all intertwine for a wonderfully balanced mouthfeel. Sumptuous yet racy, polished yet spirited, delicious and gratifying—it is an iconic culmination in the glass.
