Wine Review: This inaugural release of Cabernet Sauvignon to the OVR series pours a vivid deep ruby color with aromas of red cherry, leather gloves, black currant, and dry bay leaf. It's very approachable, fruit focused, straight forward, and smooth, with a medium body and medium acidity. The flavors include red cherry, cassis, black tea, and oak. I also detected notes of mocha and dried herbs. Moderate round tannins linger for a long time in the fruity finish. This is a good weeknight bottle to have on hand for the upcoming grilling season with a homemade cheeseburger. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Inspired by Marietta's original cult wine, Old Vine Red, the Old Vine Cabernet draws on the same simple focus to make delicious wines that bring people together.
