Wine Review: This medium gold colored Chardonnay opens with a gentle pear and mild pineapple bouquet with hints of butter sautéed mushrooms, pastry crust and lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and with light acidity. The mouthfeel is soft, gentle, smooth, and balanced. The flavor profile is a vanilla macaron with notes of oak, stony minerality, and pineapple. I also detected hints of and a touch of saline, gentle lemon, and lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors last for quite a while. The Panel would pair this Chard with pasta carbonara or sashimi. Enjoy - KWGTP
