Wine Review: This almost clear colored Gruner Veltliner opens with a key lime zest bouquet with hints of lychee and wet slate. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, round and creamy. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral and lime blend with notes of green tea with hints of white pepper, grapefruit and lemon. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Gruner with seared tuna, Great Road Kitchen’s cast iron chicken. Enjoy – KWGTP
