Wine Review: This light yellow colored white blend wine from Martha Stoumen opens with a very fragrant and attractive apricot and lemon oil bouquet with hints of chamomile tea, basil, and cantaloupe. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, mouthwatering, and clean. The flavor profile is quince and cantaloupe blend with notes of chamomile tea and honey. We also detected hints of saline, cucumber, mild grapefruit, and sesame. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. We would pair this unique white blend with a spring salad or with a hard cheese plate. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Irreverent and singular, Solo Act can't be pinned down. The vines at this Contra Costa vineyard sprout from soft sandy soils like an illusion, and this distinctive white co-ferment pulls you in with floral aromatics, then draws your focus to the distance with a long saline finish.
