Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Martin Ray is very good. It opens with aromas of oak, butter, caramel apple, banana and tropical fruit on the nose. We found it to be medium to full bodied, well balanced and having nice crisp acidity. The flavor profile is citrus fruits with lots of oak and butter. It closes with a long lingering finish. We would pair it with a mushroom risotto with asparagus and lobster. – Stuart and Karen

Winemaker Notes: Traditional and elegant, this wine boasts layers of citrus grapefruit and Key lime zest, luscious green apple, honeydew melon, and decadent vanilla cream. The body is layered and complex throughout the palate, yet light and juicy with crisp acidity around the edges and finish. Our Chardonnay would pair well with chicken piccata over wild rice.
