Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Barbara opens with fragrant blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry with notes of plum and mild minerality. I also detected hints of oak and boysenberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and faint tannins fade away nicely. This Barbera is food friendly. This wine paired well with chicken parmigiana. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our Barbera is deep purplish, almost impenetrable red. Its bouquet is elegant, sweet and tempting with intense and fruity notes. It is fresh and well balanced. An easy to drink wine which is tasty and rich without being excessively binding. Perfect with Langhe cuisine. Excellent with pasta or medium-mature cheeses.
