Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Chianti Classico opens with a black cherry, cinnamon and cedar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium minus bodied and pleasantly acidic. It is nicely rounded, approachable, and quite savory. The flavor profile is a crushed stone and black cherry blend with notes of tobacco and marjoram. I also detected hints of cedar and plum towards the end. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins are very nicely extended. This wine does even better with a little aeration. It would pair perfectly with Italian braciole. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A well-proportioned, elegant body, dark berry, fresh spice flavors. Intense and smooth. Great ability to pair with dark sauce pastas, barbecue or aged cold cuts.
