Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Merriam is very good. It opens with a light oak and gentle lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle vanilla oak and light lemon blend with hints of butterscotch and a touch of minerality towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard was very well-liked by all that tried it and it paired-perfectly with Pam’s Silver Palate lobster bisque. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2018 "Foppoli Vineyard" Chardonnay offers notes of butterscotch, shaved coconut and vanilla. Medium bodied with strong consistency and heavier minerality leads to a well-balanced palate and lingering finish
